Hi, I’m Paul Craggs — a photographer and creator with a lifelong fascination for the night sky.
My work is rooted in curiosity. Curiosity about what’s out there, how light travels across unimaginable distances, and how fleeting moments in the sky can tell stories bigger than any one of us. Through astrophotography, I aim to capture those moments — comets carving paths through space, galaxies glowing millions of light-years away, auroras dancing over quiet horizons.
I primarily work with modern smart telescopes alongside traditional imaging techniques, allowing me to explore deep-sky objects in new and accessible ways. This blend of technology and creativity lets me focus on what matters most: storytelling through light, color, and perspective.
Some of my work has reached a wider audience than I ever expected — including coverage and discussion within the global astronomy community. But at the heart of it, I’m simply driven by the same feeling I had the first time I looked up and truly saw the sky.
When I’m not imaging the cosmos, I’m sharing that experience with others — through education, social media, print, and creative projects designed to inspire curiosity at any age. Whether you’re an experienced stargazer or someone who just loves looking up, my goal is to bring the universe a little closer.
Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.
